Recreation Ground

Active Space

The recreation ground is your space to enjoy being active, either with a gentle stroll or something more physical.

It is a space accessible by everybody, young and old and whatever your physical ability.

Young children can have fun on the swings, slides and climbing frame. Older children can challenge themselves on the skate ramp.

The more active can take part in everything from basketball to football.

Various clubs use the recreation ground regularly for a variety of sporting activities.

The Nether Stowey recreation ground is located just off the A39 as you approach our friendly rural village with sweeping rural views of the Quantock Hills.

Nether Stowey has a strong sense of community, and the residents encourage you to use the facilities, with due care and respect.
