Nether Stowey Party in the Park 2021

After over a year of pandemic restrictions, the community came out in force to support a lower-key Nether Stowey Party in the Park 2021, despite some hefty downpours in the morning! It was apparent that attendees to the event relished being able to socialise with more than one group of friends and some good clean fun was had. The bar and BBQ raised over £1000 – thank you! Stallholders also reported good footfall – thank you for your attendance.

Entertainment was provided by Ron Scales and his band, Leia Violet, Paul Enever and the popular Aaron Robinson who got people up and dancing as the sunset. The evening was rounded out by some impromptu karaoke.  

Special thanks go to the recreation ground committee, especially Ron and Lyn Scales, Sharon Mayell, Jo Scoins, David and Tom Davison for organising the event and Stowey Green Spaces for their litter pick efforts.
